EVENT DESCRIPTION
Maluco Thursdays arrived to Revolution Brighton on 3rd March and since then we have became the local reference in Kizomba + Bachata classes followed by FREE SBK (Salsa + Bachata + Kizomba) Party! If you love coming to Sundays Fundays, Maluco Thursdays will take you to the Next Level!!
Due to the demand we have had from our students, friends and followers to keep developing the dance scene in Brighton, Salsa Bachata Kizomba Brighton and The Latin Passion have now teamed up with Super Dixon to bring an evening of dance and plenty of flavor where you will be able to learn Kizomba and Bachata from Top instructors on each of the styles.
IMPORTANT:
At some point, reaching the end of each level, every student develops skills enough to be in a bridge between two levels. At that point we recommend you: First to ask your teacher if you are ready to go to the next level. If so, you may better start to go sometimes to each level until you are completely ready to move to the higher one.

19:00: Doors Open
19:30 – 20:30: Bachata Fusion classes at 3 levels (Beginner, Improver & Intermediate+)
20:30 – 20:40: Break for a drink and practice
20:40 – 21:40: Kizomba classes at 2 levels (Beginner
and Improver+`)
21:15 – Late in the night: FREE SBK (Salsa + Bachata + Kizomba) Party plus touches of: Bachata, Kizomba, Salsa + touches of Semba, Tarraxinha, merengue, reggaeton, dembow and more...
OUR TEACHERS
*** Peynao, As a dance teacher and performer, has been dancing
Bachata, Salsa and Latin rhythms since 2004. Peynao learned
Bachata and Salsa with some of the top teachers and performers
in Spain and at international congresses and was in regular
lessons with great instructors as (Korke & Judith and
Rodrigo Torres and Carolina González). Since he came to UK, he
has been the first one representing UK in 2011 in BachataStars
Europe where he got to the 4th position with his then dance
partner. He also won the Latin Dance Video competition for the
Premier of Street Dance 3D and is the
pioneer of Sensual Bachata in the UK and a
well-respected instructor, both nationally and
internationally. He is currently teaching Bachata in fusion or
separated in styles like Sensual, Modern, Traditional,
Bachatango…
Peynao has performed, taught and DJ in
many national famous Latin dance clubs like Bachata Spice, El
Grande, Bar Salsa, Motion City Festival, Sexy Latin Festival,
BachataStars Europe Finals in London, Clave Latina Festival,
Mambocity Congress, UKDC, and cities like Edimburgh,
Nottingham, Oxford, Brighton, Cambridge, Bachata Spice
International…. and has been one of the very first UK
based Bachata artists traveling abroad: Dominican Republic
(Bachata Paradise), Madrid Bachatea Festival in Spain, Huelva
Kizombachata Festival also in Spain, Ballagan Festival in
Israel, Italy, Hungary, Ireland… He also has shared
stage with singers as Ephrem J and Dani J and last May 2018
was proudly judge of Greece’s Qualifying of the World
Latin Championship: Euroson Latino.
Peynao was
co-organiser and introducer of BachataStars UK, organiser of
BachataStars Europe Finals 2013 and co-directing the very
famous bi-monthly party “Bachata Spice” and Bachata Spice UK
Amateur, UK Open and International Championships, well-known
to everyone in the Latin scene. Peynao has been promoting and
organising events in his own right and in partnership for many
major events around the country and runs different media
channels like Bachata Spice or The Latin Passion.
*** DIXON DE LACERDA
Our new team member was born in Mozambique, Africa but he is Portuguese from his Father side having lived in Portugal most of his Life. After that he moved to the UK for the past 11 years he has been living in Plymouth. Dixon has been dancing Kizomba for more than 20 years with a Hip-Hop background making a total of nearly 25 years of dance experience. He promotes events in several cities around the UK and is a well know national and international Kizomba and Afro-Latin dance instructor. DiXoN is definitely one of the most Craziest & Hyper Entertainers in the AfroLatin SBK Scene in the whole UK and Abroad as his Knowledge of PALOP culture, dance & music makes him one of the most complete artists as the Quest for knowledge comes from his Family and Ancestors. When Dixon arrives you will know the POSITIVE ENERGY in the Room has gone UP! ❤️🔥 He is also an awarded DJ and specializes in multiple music styles: ★ SALSA ★ BACHATA ★ KIZOMBA ★ REGGAETON ★ AFROBEATS ★ AFROHOUSE ★ MERENGUE

ENTRANCE & DRESS CODE
Dress Code: Wear something comfortable and flexible that allows you to move.
Ladies: Long tight skirts will make it difficult for you to do several movements. Wear something that allows you to separate and move your legs without problems. We didn’t mention guys because they don’t usually wear long skirts ;p
Shoes: We recommend to use light and flexible shoes that hold to the ground but still allow you to slide, turn or spin.
